January was an amazing month for indoor meetups! What a great way to start 2023. This is a special year for USkTO as it marks 10 years since our Chapter’s founder Marie-Judith Jean-Louis held the first-ever meetup on October 10, 2013. In 2023, our first meetup was on Jan 21 with an art exhibition that kicked off USkTO 10x10. The exhibit is at At Origin Coffee, where 24 of our sketchers are showcasing their work until February 25! The café was packed with members catching up, checking out the exhibit, and sharing sketchbooks. Of course, we had delicious treats and drinks.
On Jan 29, our awesome guest host Phil had a meetup at The Only Café, a gorgeous spot on the Danforth. This was an early morning meetup but well attended! We can almost smell the coffee aroma through the pages.
We appreciate our hosts, the venues, our Events Team, and the sketchers who showed up and made these meetups so wonderful!! Hope to see you at our February events!
