Celebrating Toronto Pen Shoppe’s First Anniversary

We are thrilled to have received an invitation to the Pen & Ink Festival, which marks the first anniversary of the Toronto Pen Shoppe. 

The event will take place on July 14, 2024 (Sunday) at the Historic Distillery District and coincides with the Italian Contemporary Film Festival. So we have lots of opportunities to sketch. Do you remember those red and white inflatable sofas from last year? Yes, they are back. 

Aside from our meet-up, there will be demos and Anniversary Draws.

2:00-2:30 PM Simultaneous demos by Mauricio Munoz and Isabel Santos 

Location: Case Goods Lane (across the Toronto Pen Shoppe)

2:30-5:15 PM Sketch meetup, sketch anywhere in the Distillery

5:15-5:30 PM Throwdown at Case Goods Lane 

5:45-6:30 PM Demo by Marek Badzynski **

Location: Birra Moretti Theatre at Pure Spirit Mews. This is the smaller theatre in front of Pure Spirit Patio. 

** Please keep the following information in mind, this is a ticketed demonstration that gives you access to one of the three incredible Anniversary Draws. The ticket is free, but you must obtain one by visiting the Toronto Pen Shoppe on July 14th and being present during the draw. If your name is called and you are unable to claim the prize, a new ticket will be drawn.
