Sketching Toronto's Harbourfront

What is summer without a sketch meet at Toronto’s Harbourfront? There is no large duck making an appearance (yet), but so many other things to sketch: people on the boardwalk, restaurant/cafe fronts, the skyline, ferries, ships, boats, water taxis, the marina. Hope you will join us as the lake and breezes beckon! 

Address: Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queen’s Quay West, Toronto 

When: Sunday, August 25, 2024 11:00am - 1:00pm

11:00am: Vivian will be at the Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre (283 Queen’s Quay West). Come and say hi before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups depending on personal preference. 

1:00pm- We will meet at Harbourfront Centre entrance facing Queen’s Quay West street (just west of Farm Boy grocery store) for a throwdown and group photo.

Sketching at Kensington Market

Colourful, gritty, bohemian, vintage, trendy…. There are many words we can say about this area that is so uniquely Toronto, but especially relevant for us, this word: sketchable.

When: Sunday, August 11, 2024 11:00am - 1:00pm

11:00am: Host will be at Pera Cafe (62 Nassau Street). Come and say hi before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups depending on personal preference.

1:00pm- We will meet at the west corner of College and Major streets (by the Kensington Health building, and across from Fancy Frank’s - see below) for a throwdown and group photo.

Note: if it rains, there will be no throwdown/group photo at the end. You are still welcome to sketch anywhere in the Market of course.
