Sketching the Berczy Park Pumpkin Parade

     SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2025 | 5:00PM-6:30PM

Brrr it’s cold….so bundle up, because we will be sketching the Pumpkin Parade at Berczy Park!

The parade will take place around the stage area. Let’s sketch the park, its famous dog fountain, and this great community tradition where people drop off their Jack-o-lanterns as a token of farewell to the season.

5pm - Hosts will be at the park near by the stage area. Come by and say hi, before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups.

6:30pm - Meet in the same spot for a quick throwdown and group photo. It may be too dark to look at sketches. We plan to head to a nearby pub by 7pm for warmth, sketchbook sharing, and a Drink & Draw. Everyone is welcome to join.

[PREORDER] Lines of the City: Urban Sketches of Toronto catalogue

We’re happy to announce we are accepting pre-orders of our Exhibition catalogue! This limited-run book accompanies the Lines of the City exhibition at 401 Richmond, featuring on-location drawings that capture Toronto’s landmarks, streetscapes, and everyday spaces through the eyes of our sketching community. Available by prepayment only, this catalogue is a special edition produced in a single print run—once sold out, it will not be reprinted. 

Get your own little piece of the exhibition here! The catalogue features a small reproduction of each beautiful piece, with an accompanying story in the artist’s own words.

Pre-orders have been extended to all members and supporters until November 8. Please allow about 2 weeks after pre-ordering closes to receive your catalogue.

Sketching in Yorkville

    SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2025 | 1:00PM-3:00PM

This Sunday we'll be returning to the fantastic Yorkville area!

There are many great spots to sketch - whether indoors or out, there are lots of options such as the Yorkville Fire Station, Yorkville Library, and cafes. Scriptus Toronto Pen Show is also happening from 10am-4pm at the Toronto Reference Library, 2nd floor.

1pm - Hosts will be at the corner of Yonge/Collier on the Collier St side. Optionally come by and say hi, before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups. Hosts may head to Scriptus at the Toronto Reference Library, dependent on traffic into the event.

3pm - Meet in the same spot for our sketch throwdown and group photo.

Sketching Nathan Phillips Square

Let’s sketch this iconic square that’s Toronto’s Living Room!

1pm: Host will be at the Henry Moore “Archer” statue for about 10 minutes. Optionally come by and say hi, before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups. There are lots to sketch whether you prefer architecture, statues, food trucks, or people-sketching!

3pm: meet in same spot for our sketch throwdown and group photo.

Please do not block pedestrian traffic and treat security with courtesy.
