We'll be going to sketch at the Drom Taberna!

Sunday May 5th at 2PM, Moies Borges is coming to Drom and will pair up with guitarist André Valério to grace their stage and early birds willing to enjoy the full extent of a sunny day with live music, food and drinks!

There will be no initial meet and greet; this will be done at the throwdown. The throwdown location will be determined at the venue, please check with Vivian.

SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2024

We're returning to Evergreen Brickworks to sketch! This lovely urban oasis has been a UskTO favourite for many years. We are expecting lovely weather (fingers crossed) and an awesome farmers market on the day, so there will be plenty of treats to eat and people + post-industrial landscapes to sketch.

11 am - We'll meet up at the at the Frances and Tim Price terrace. That's the one in front of the pond just in front of the shed. See the map.

11: 15ish - We will disperse to sketch individually or in small groups depending on personal preference.

2 pm - We will meet back at the at the Frances and Tim Price terrace for a throwdown and group picture.

Let's Sketch at Union Station!

Let's sketch Union Station on April 21, 2024! There are many options to choose from, including sketching indoors or outdoors, people, architecture, details of the spaces, retail shops, and Front Street.

We'll meet by the information desk (under the clock) in The Great Hall on the top floor at 10:00 am.

Please make sure that your sketching spot does not impede pedestrian traffic. We'll regroup at 1:00 pm for the throwdown to share our sketches!

Sketching at Typist Studios Coffee

We're meeting at the beautiful, cozy Typist Studios Coffee to sketch! Please note, all sketchers should make a purchase from the café as they are graciously opening early for us!

This space is charming one filled with artefacts and furnishings, and has delicious coffee. It is very popular with local patrons and sketchers.

8:30am - Meet and greet at Typist Studios. Grab your drink and/or snack, and sit with your friends or meet new ones! We will disperse to sketch individually or in small groups depending on personal preference but please be mindful that this is a public space and you may have to share a table with other sketchers.
10:30am - We will place our sketches together on a large table at the throwdown where we will share our sketches. Vivian will advise which area the throwdown will be in.
