Sketching Toronto Word on the Street

 SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2025 | 1:00-3:00PM

Hey fellow book lovers! We’re headed to Toronto’s Word on the Street again this year to sketch the annual free street festival celebrating the written word!

There are lots of subjects to sketch like any of the author panels, festival goers, the diverse architecture and the sculptures around the square!

When: Saturday, September 27, 2025 - 1-3pm

Host: Vivian (@vfsoetikno)

Where: David Pecaut Square - meet at entrance (outside) of 225 King St West (Metro Centre building). (indicated by the blue star on the festival map)

1pm: Host will be at meeting place around 10 minutes. Optionally come by and say hi, before dispersing to sketch individually or in small groups per preference.

3pm - Meet back at the Metro Centre entrance for a sketchbook throwdown and group photo.
